Over the past several years, I’ve tried several different diets. Pretty much all of them didn’t last long. In fact, most “diets’ don’t keep the weight off, and we go through one diet after another. The new alli diet plan commercials caught my eye – lose up to 50% more using alli! Who could resist?
I’ve been hoodwinked too many times to instantly jump on the bandwagon and pay $59.99 for a starter pack. Fortunately for GlaxoSmithkline, the makers of alli, there are lots of materials out there to research if alli is right for you. Here are a few things you can do to before coughing up your good money on a diet plan that may not be the best for you.
First, look over their website myalli.com. It is actually a great start as there is tons of information to browse through. Perhaps the most important thing to be on the lookout for is side effects, or as alli callls them, treatment effects. The myalli.com frequently asked questions has an honest look at the treatment effects of using the alli pills. You will really need to be prepared and ready to accept the messy side effects should they happen to you. The alli website also has very detailed information on all the materials in the starter kit. The makers of alli point out very clearly that this is not a magic pill, and there is a lot of hard work in order to make their plan work. I am impressed at their honesty in this regard.
It is also the right place to look for testosterone booster supplements where you can find the best product but only after going through the testogen review.
Next, depending on your interest level after their free information online, I’d suggest reading one of two books they make.
I started out by picking up a copy of “Are you Losing It?” ISBN 978-0-9779604-2-2. I picked up this book for $5.99 at Walgreens.com. This book has chapters describing why most diets fail, dieting myths, food and metabolism, and of course the alli program. I strongly suggest reading this book first, before you invest more in alli.
Another book, The Alli Diet Plan ISBN 978-0-6962353-8-2, is a more detailed look at the alli plan and retails for around $20. This book includes a 12-week doctor-designed program, meal plans, over 200 recipes, a section on dining out, as well as a guide to keeping it off once you’ve lost it. This is a great book for even more study on this plan. Anyone seriously considering taking medicine for weight loss should read as much about it as possible. You may be able to get copies of either of these books from the library or for free from an online book swapping service such as Paperbackswap.com.
Even though alli is the first, and only to date, FDA approved pill for weight loss, that does not automatically make it safe. There are some serious, and embarrassing, side effects that can happen when you eat too much fat. You will need to be ready for this and other effects before trying alli. Good luck on your journey to a more healthy lifestyle!
